Thanks to a generous gift, United Friends of the Children will provide scholarships of up to $5000 for college-going youth in our Education and Pathways Programs. Participants will have to complete a brief application. Rising college costs are among the most significant factors in a young person’s decision to continue their education. This one-time scholarship award will allow our youth to fill financial aid gaps. It will also help address unforeseen economic challenges that can sometimes lead students to drop out of college in favor of finding employment opportunities that will help them deal with the financial emergency.
