Lauren Fujiu

Lauren Fujiu is Vice President, Business Affairs at 20th Television, a division of The Walt Disney Company. Prior to moving in-house, Lauren was an attorney at an AmLaw 20 law firm in Los Angeles. While she specialized in corporate insolvency and financial restructuring, Lauren committed thousands of hours to pro bono work including as a member of the trial team that challenged the constitutionality of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy and as part of the legal team that investigated allegations of excessive use of force in Los Angeles County jails and drafted the 2012 Report of the Citizens’ Commission on Jail Violence. She received her law degree from Loyola Law School and her Bachelor of Arts in History and French from the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Lauren is passionate about serving her community. In addition to being the Founding Co-Chair Emeritus of the United Friends of the Children NextGen Board, she is the Chair of the UCLA Lab School Advisory Board. She has previously served on the board of the Junior League of Los Angeles and was a Southern California Leadership Network, Leadership LA Fellow. A fourth-generation Southern California native, Lauren lives in Los Angeles with her husband, Josh, and two children.
