Jade Tran has been a member of the NextGen Board since 2020, and began her work with foster youth in 2016, as a mentor to young women in the Bay Area. She is also passionate about animal rescue and has worked with a number of LA-based organizations to help dogs find their forever homes.

Jade has spent the majority of her career working with technology startups – first in venture capital, then in operating roles, and now as a Senior Vice President in Pacific West Bank’s Venture Banking group.

Originally from Bexley, Ohio, Jade received her Master’s and Bachelor’s Degrees in Art History from The Ohio State University (O-H!). She now lives in Santa Monica with her rescue dog, Cricket, and surfs as much as she possibly can.
