Eric is the Director of Institutional Giving at United Friends of the Children. He joined United Friends as a counselor and manager in the Education department in 2012. After working directly with youth and managing a team of counselors, he transitioned to the Development team as the Grants and Foundation Relations Manager – an opportunity to raise awareness and private funding for UFC’s programs. Eric now directs and manages United Friends’ private foundation grants and numerous public contracts.
Before joining United Friends, Eric spent his career as a counselor and manager in youth residential facilities in Orange County. He has a deep dedication to improving the life outcomes of children in the child welfare system.
Eric earned a bachelor’s degree from Azusa Pacific University (Biblical Studies/Youth Ministry) and a Masters of Business Administration (Non-profit Management) degree from Hope International University. He is a foster-adopt parent of four and enjoys exploring the outdoors with his wife and children.
