CSP 2002 Alumna, Daisy Gonzales, graduated with a P.h.D. in Sociology from UC, Santa Barbara. Having mentored other CSP youth at UCSB, written an end of the year funding appeal letter on our behalf, and been a featured speaker at Celebration a few years ago, Daisy is serious about leaving the world a better place than she found it. In April, she was hired by Stanford’s Policy Analysis for Education Center (PACE) to lead a research consortium between Stanford, USC and UC Davis. Daisy says,

“It’s a dream job to bridge the gap between the academic research community and policymakers.”

She expressed deep gratitude for all of UFC’s support over the past 14 years. A huge thank you to everyone that has encouraged Daisy along the way.
