Hannah is described by her counselor as caring and ambitious. She is currently a junior at Cal State University of Los Angeles and will graduate in the Spring of 2023. Recently, we’ve seen Hannah’s caring heart and passion for her peers in action. As part of a group assignment, Hannah spearheaded a project to donate five laptops to 11th and 12th-grade UFC scholars, who were selected based on need. Hannah personally delivered each laptop, while also encouraging the youth to attend college by sharing some of her own experiences. After learning that one of the youth plans to attend CSULA in the fall, she happily shared her contact information so they could stay in touch.

Hannah is passionate about helping others and hopes to work with children and youth after she graduates. Her counselor shared that since Hannah joined UFC in middle school, she has been very engaged and has always advocated for herself and other foster youth.

We are so proud of Hannah’s accomplishments and grateful to have been part of this beautiful full-circle moment for Hannah.
