Micah joined United Friends’ Scholars Program in middle school as a shy and reserved student. With support from United Friends, he blossomed into a confident young man. Despite not being initially admitted to his dream university, Cal State Northridge, Micah took a chance and appealed the decision. His determination paid off, and he thrived at CSUN, majoring in Broadcast Journalism. Micah was actively involved in the Resilient Scholars Program, produced news pieces, and built strong relationships with professors and classmates.

Throughout his journey with us, Micah attended numerous workshops, college visits, and social events, making the most of the resources and opportunities provided. We are honored to have been part of his educational journey for nearly a decade.
