Heroes of the Month: Mikol and Danielle Jelks!

This month, we’re thrilled to honor the Jelks family as our Heroes of the Month! Their story began at the Pathways Transitional Housing program, where they met on the very last day of orientation. What started as a bond over poetry and music blossomed into a deep friendship, faith-driven partnership, and eventually a beautiful marriage.

Neighbors at the Ruoff Site, they supported each other through life’s highs and lows—nurturing creativity, sharing faith, and building a connection that became unshakable. Their journey with Pathways didn’t end there. The Jelks family has continued to give back, sharing their talents at the Brass Rings Gala, College Graduation events, and even creating heartfelt thank-you videos for donors.

Today, they remain connected to the Pathways community, using their experiences and creativity to inspire and uplift others. Thank you, Jelks family, for being a shining example of resilience, love, and service!
