Introducing our Hero of the Month, Franco Vega! Over two decades ago, Franco kickstarted his journey by teaching transition-age foster youth and establishing an employment haven for recovering addicts and the homeless.
In 2011, he founded The RightWay Foundation, a game-changing program tackling trauma and job hurdles for foster youth through mental health services and job readiness training.
From a challenging past marked by abuse, neglect, and personal loss, Franco, an Army vet and CSU Dominguez Hills grad is uniquely equipped to guide foster youth in overcoming their obstacles.
As a dedicated father of four and an active community member, Franco is not only pursuing an MSW but also expanding The RightWay Foundation’s impact, providing crucial support for youth to build a stable and sustainable future. Thank you Franco for all that you do!
