For these extraordinary individuals, the transition isn’t just about books and exams; it’s a profound shift into adulthood, loaded with complexities that most of us take for granted. When foster youth turn 18, they not only are getting ready to graduate high school, but they are aging out of foster care, often alone and without any support or guidance. Many experience emotional instability and distress, financial burdens, and run the risk of ending up homeless.
Your support of College with Care will provide 1 year of services to students from high school juniors to college freshmen. Together, we are not just funding an initiative; we are helping rewrite the narratives of these inspiring young people, empowering them to overcome hurdles and ensuring they not only survive but thrive in their academic pursuits.
