Our current initiative, College with Care, focuses on supporting foster youth transitioning from high school to college. It will provide 1 year of services to students from high school juniors to college freshmen. Your support will prepare our foster youth for the rigors of college and ensure they succeed no matter what hurdles they face.
College can be a stressful time for many, but especially for foster youth who experience instability, financial burdens, and a lack of support and guidance from parents. There is no room for error for foster youth who don’t have a family to fall back on. According to US Social Security Agency, lifetime earnings increase by $1.3M for an individual who earns a college degree. When you give in support of College with Care, your gift will prepare our foster youth for college, assist with financial expenses, and provide continuous help with their emotional wellbeing to ensure a future of success.
