Robert A. Daly Jr., Linda Daly, and Brian Daly were honored at the United Friends of the Children 40th Anniversary Brass Ring Awards Gala, on May 28 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel. The event raised more than $1.2 million to support Los Angeles County foster youth.
The Brass Ring Awards Dinner honors individuals whose humanitarianism has put opportunity within the reach of children. United Friends of the Children is guided by the vision to change the face of foster care in Los Angeles with a goal that the youth in their housing and education programs not only survive, but thrive. They are dedicated to supporting over 1,400 Los Angeles current and former foster youth annually on their journey towards a successful and independent adulthood.
As recipients of this year’s Brass Ring Award, Bobby, Brian, and Linda Daly have dedicated their personal and professional lives to public service and furthering the legacy of their mother, founder of United Friends of the Children, Nancy M. Daly.
The Brass Ring event is supported in part by Cindy & Alan Horn, CBS, Marianna and David Fisher, Cheryl & The Saban Family Foundation, Richard Merkin, M.D., and Warner Bros. Entertainment.
