Tijon joined United Friends’ Scholars program in 2023, uncertain of his future but determined to attend college. With guidance and support, he received multiple acceptances from HBCUs and chose to attend Miles College. Despite facing institutional challenges, Tijon’s resilience and commitment have led him to this proud moment of reaching his goal.
