This month’s Hero of the Month is Lucero Noyola! 🤗🦸‍♀️

From foster care and the juvenile justice system to earning her Master of Social Work degree from USC, Lucero has transformed her personal experience into impactful action. Now, as a Program Officer for the Carrie Estelle Doheny Foundation, she channels funds to uplift marginalized communities to which she deeply relates. 👏

Lucero also serves on the board of the Andrus Family Fund, promoting social justice and better futures for vulnerable youth nationwide. She was a driving force behind the creation of the LA County Youth Commission and has consulted with foundations to guide their investments toward social good.
