Amy Ruiz has been involved with UFC since 2019, volunteering at several events before officially joining the UFC NextGen board. She’s passionate about helping children achieve their greatest potential, which is what drove her to this organization. Prior to getting involved with UFC, Amy was part of The Glow Effect, a non-profit organization that helps empower women all over the world. As part of the organization, she helped fundraise money to help build a women’s center in Uganda, giving women of the community a chance to learn new skills and build a sustainable life in order to provide a better life for their children.

Amy graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Marketing. Since graduating, she has been working in advertising for over 12 years across multiple entertainment accounts. She is currently the Director of Strategy on the WB Theatrical account at Hearts & Science, building strategic media recommendations for WB’s film releases.

When Amy is not busy working, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts, watching movies, and spending time with her family, friends, fiancé and her dog Russell.
