2023 Commencement Ceremony

A Night of Achievements: Honoring the UFC Graduating Class

Did you know that less than half of Los Angeles County foster youth graduate from high school, and only a tiny fraction earn a college degree? At United Friends of the Children, we’re proud to have beaten these statistics: 90% of our seniors graduate high school, and an impressive 70% of our seniors earn a bachelor’s degree.

This year, we’re excited to host our first-ever in-house graduation ceremony to honor our graduating class’s hard work and achievements. It’s a momentous occasion; whether you’re a student, caregiver, or supporter, we’d love for you to join us in celebrating our youth, their dedication to their education, and their bright futures.

We can’t wait to come together as a community and enjoy a night of food, fun, and celebration. Please mark your calendars, & RSVP above. We look forward to seeing you there!

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Anastasia Soare for her generous support in making this event possible. Anastasia’s commitment and dedication to the academic success of our youth is truly inspiring, and we are proud to have her ongoing support.
