A heartfelt thank you to Shari, Jojo, Brooke Friedman, and our Education program staff for hosting a special boutique shopping experience in the Antelope Valley called the SheStyles Event!

SheStyles first started when the Freidman girls began collecting clothing during the pandemic and developed a rewarding way to connect young women facing hardships with clothing that reflected their own unique styles.

At the SheStyles event, our AV youth and their caregivers had a chance to look through the items, select what they liked, and decide on ten of their favorite things. From the fitting rooms to the boutique-style checkout experience, this day was meant to feel like the ultimate shopping spree. The Friedman girls went above and beyond to make sure our youth felt special and taken care of, and we can’t thank them enough for it! The event was so successful that another one is being planned.
